“This collection is my dialogue with the feminine spirit—an homage to strength, transformation, and myth. Each piece carries memory and intention, crafted to protect, to shape, and to empower”.
Moulham Obid’s new collection merges personal memory with a conceptually refined design language. Inspired by mythological figures such as Venus, Gaia, and Yemaya, it reimagines contemporary femininity—layered, intuitive, and powerful.
At the heart of the collection are corset-like sculptures, worn on the upper body and laced at the back. Their construction echoes the function of armor—protective yet shaping. Crafted from recycled plastic and adorned with pearls, embroidery, and sculptural textures, each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation.
These corsets are paired with voluminous elements made from tulle, taffeta, and printed cotton. Many of the looks are transformable, designed to shift with movement and styling. The material choices reflect a conscious, sustainable ethos.
As a whole, the collection unfolds as a textile meditation on identity, transformation, and presence—uniting craftsmanship with conceptual clarity.
